According to Axios, Trump had positive remarks about numerous potential VP running mates, contrary to expectations of critical comments. He expressed fondness for Sen. Rubio, Sen. Scott, and Sen. Vance, who previously didn’t endorse Trump. He also praised Gov. Kristi Noem, despite recent criticism from liberal media and RINOs.
Additionally, Trump discussed Rep. Stefanik and Gov. Doug Burgum. Notably absent from the leaked audio are discussions about former rivals Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis. While Gov. DeSantis has pledged fundraising support for Trump, his role in the campaign or potential administration remains uncertain.
