Trump Demands FCC Investigation Into NBC Over Al Sharpton’s Race-Baiting Show

President Donald Trump has called on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to investigate NBC’s broadcasting license, accusing the network of spreading Democrat propaganda through Al Sharpton’s divisive MSNBC show. The former president suggested that network executives are too afraid to cancel the race-baiting host because it wouldn’t be “politically correct.”

In a fiery Truth Social post, President Trump shared an old photo of Reverend Al Sharpton, recalling how the controversial figure once sought his help to attract crowds. Trump noted that Sharpton’s fame skyrocketed after the infamous Tawana Brawley hoax, a case that falsely accused white men of a racially motivated rape and made Sharpton a household name.

“I knew Al Sharpton for many years,” Trump wrote. “He used to ask me to attend his rallies because I brought huge crowds. Then he pushed the Tawana Brawley hoax, one of the worst scams in American history — and that’s when everything changed.”

Trump went on to criticize NBC Chairman Brian Roberts, calling him “afraid” to remove Sharpton despite the show’s dismal ratings.

“Roberts is afraid to take him off because it wouldn’t be politically correct,” Trump said. “That’s why the FCC should look into NBC’s license, a network that broadcasts almost nothing but pro-Democrat content.”

The former president also took aim at ABC News, accusing the network of running 97% negative coverage of Republicans, echoing a broader concern among conservatives that mainstream media outlets function as Democrat communication arms rather than impartial news sources.

Al Sharpton’s Long History of Racial Controversy

Sharpton, who now hosts ‘PoliticsNation with Al Sharpton’ on MSNBC, has long faced criticism for using race as a political weapon. Over the years, he has transformed himself from a radical street activist into a left-wing media figure, leveraging racial grievances for political gain.

Reports revealed that Sharpton’s National Action Network accepted campaign money from Kamala Harris during her failed presidential bid, raising serious ethical questions about his coverage of her campaign. Despite public outrage, MSNBC refused to discipline Sharpton, allowing him to continue promoting Democrat talking points without accountability.

Earlier this year, Sharpton led a boycott against Target and other major retailers after they scaled back controversial DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) initiatives — a move seen by many as racially divisive and politically motivated.

A History of Hypocrisy and Hate

The Tawana Brawley case, which first brought Sharpton national attention, remains one of the most infamous racial hoaxes in American history. In 1987, the 15-year-old falsely claimed to have been kidnapped and assaulted by white men. Her story was proven false, but not before Sharpton helped ignite national outrage and racial division.

Despite his history of deception and inflammatory rhetoric, Sharpton continues to enjoy a prime media platform, fueling distrust and resentment among Americans.

Trump’s Call to Action Against Media Corruption

President Trump’s demand for the FCC to investigate NBC is part of a broader push to hold mainstream media accountable for bias and misinformation. His criticism comes as conservatives continue to face unbalanced coverage and smear campaigns from corporate media giants like NBC, MSNBC, and ABC.

“The FCC needs to step in and review the networks that have become propaganda machines for one political party,” Trump’s post declared, echoing the frustration of millions of conservatives across the country.

As the 2024 election aftermath continues to expose media corruption and double standards, Trump’s challenge to NBC and Sharpton represents more than a personal feud — it’s a battle for truth, fairness, and accountability in American media.
