JD Vance Blasts “Disgraceful” WSJ Smear Linking Trump to Epstein in Explosive Rebuke

Vice President JD Vance has once again come out swinging, condemning The Wall Street Journal for what he calls a “fake, disgraceful hit piece” attempting to link President Donald J. Trump to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. This controversial story has sparked a firestorm among conservative leaders, who see it as a blatant smear campaign orchestrated by the leftist media.

The Journal reported that President Trump allegedly penned a “bawdy” letter to Epstein, including a doodle of a nude woman in a book made for the financier’s 50th birthday back in 2003. The so-called artwork, the WSJ claimed, featured “a pair of small arcs” suggesting breasts, and Trump’s signature below the waist, intended to mimic pubic hair.

But JD Vance isn’t buying any of it.

Vance had already dismissed the claim as “complete and utter bullsh*t”, but on Friday, he ramped up his criticism in a searing post on X. His outrage was aimed not only at the content of the article but at the Journal’s refusal to provide the alleged letter to the White House or public.

“The contention—if you just read what I said—is that it’s bogus for the WSJ to publish a hit piece without showing us the letter,” Vance declared. “I have no idea if this book exists. I have no idea if the letter exists. WSJ won’t show it to us.”

He slammed the Wall Street Journal for acting like a “Democrat SuperPAC”, accusing the outlet of smearing Trump without evidence and then dragging out baseless claims over time to damage his character ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

“They won’t show us the book or allow us to refute it until they’ve wrung every bit of fake news out of the story,” Vance added. “It’s disgraceful, and it’s why the president sued.”

Vance also took aim at MSNBC’s Chris Hayes for defending the Journal’s reporting, firing back that the accusation of Trump writing poems to Epstein is not only absurd but a desperate media attempt to manipulate public opinion.

“Forgive my language,” he said, “but this story is complete and utter bullsh*t. The WSJ should be ashamed for publishing it.”

President Trump’s response was just as sharp. In a Truth Social post, he announced legal action against the Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch himself, denouncing the story as a fabrication.

“The Wall Street Journal printed a FAKE letter, supposedly to Epstein,” Trump wrote. “These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don’t draw pictures.

“I told Rupert Murdoch it was a scam,” he continued. “But he printed it anyway, and now I’m going to sue his ass off—and that of his third-rate newspaper.”

The lawsuit underscores how the Trump campaign is preparing to push back harder than ever against mainstream media attacks, especially as the 2024 election heats up.

Conservative leaders and America First supporters view this latest smear as a coordinated effort to derail Trump’s momentum. With rising poll numbers and a galvanized base, Democrat-aligned media outlets appear determined to revive old scandals to distract voters from Biden’s failing presidency.

But as JD Vance’s fiery defense shows, this GOP administration is not backing down. With Trump leading the charge, they’re ready to expose the deep-state collusion and media corruption working against them.
