Virginia’s Governor, Glenn Youngkin, recently voiced his frustration over a “stunning decision” that impacts the state’s voter rolls just weeks before Election Day. The controversy arose when U.S. District Judge Patricia Tolliver Giles ordered that individuals previously removed from Virginia’s voter list be reinstated.
The judge sided with President Joe Biden’s administration and other private groups, asserting that Virginia’s efforts to remove potential non-citizens from voter rolls violated federal law. According to Giles, such removals cannot take place within 90 days of a federal election unless done on a case-by-case basis.

Appearing on Fox News, Youngkin expressed his disbelief, criticizing the decision to return individuals who had identified as non-citizens to the voter rolls. He highlighted that many of these individuals had submitted immigration documents proving their non-citizen status, documents recently verified by federal authorities.
